Description
Beautiful tender aquarium plant with small
straight leaves. When the plant gets enough light it will get sort of red.
This plant needs soft, acid water.
My experiences
Although the plant didn't get soft, acid water in
my aquarium, it still grew pretty good and developed to a beautiful plant.
This plants is sensitive for algae's, which I had a lot in my aquarium at
the time I had this plant. Therefore I only had this plant for about one
till two months. This plant is often mentioned as a plant for the front area of
the aquarium, but I myself think it's get to high for this place, because
it got about 40 cm high in my aquarium. This plant is definitely not a plant for new
aquariums or for beginners.
| Place and lighting in my aquarium |
This
plant stood in the middle of my aquarium. The lighting I used at the time
was a 0.42 Watt/liter lumilux TL lighting (2*18 Watt). |
